Mertcan Avcı works with a curiosity that begins with objects and expands into systems. What matters is not how a product looks, but why it exists in that form and what structure it belongs to.

Industrial design here is not merely about form. It is a way of understanding how people, technologies, and resources move together. The focus is not on individual products, but on the structures, flows, and decision mechanisms that make them possible.

Over time, one reality becomes clear: those who design structures shape their outcomes. Opaque systems, misaligned incentives, and broken feedback loops push people toward harmful results, regardless of intention.

For this reason, the work is not about directing individuals, but about designing the ground they move on. Platforms, atlases, and digital tools exist to make that ground more transparent, more productive, and more just.
